This is a great park with large fields, a baseball diamond, a volleyball sand pit, mature shade trees near a nice stream, a community center building, public restrooms, and a pavilion, and a basic playground with a slide, swings, and monkey bars. It also has a big hill that's really popular for sledding in the winter. The playground equipment could use an update.
Close to home, it's always a fun time. Holds large groups, and the price is right.
Great fishing, thanks to state DEC stocking program. Excellent place for family parties. Fantastic little league fields. Great volleyball court. Good basketball courts. Easy parking. Handicap accessible restrooms. Meticulously maintained grounds.
A good place to meet, walk a dog, play ball, fish, sled in winter, throw a party, etc.
